To my neighbors in District 5,
Thank you. Over the past several months I’ve knocked on doors, answered calls and texts, and stopped to talk with many of you on the sidewalk. Those conversations have been the best part of this whole experience. You told me what you love about our neighborhood, what frustrates you, and what you hope Pacific Grove looks like for the next generation. I listened, and I took notes.
District 5 is a fantastic place. It’s a working neighborhood of families, longtime residents, and people who show up for each other. This is the first time our district has had its own seat on the council, and I don’t take that lightly. My job is to make sure your voice is heard at City Hall.
Here’s my promise as I take office: I’ll be transparent about the decisions in front of the council, careful with every dollar, and easy to reach. Keep the complaints and the suggestions coming.
